I installed Trusteer as recommended by Scotiabank, on my laptop, 2gig ram, December 2015.
I bought the laptop second hand and turned off all unnecessary Win 7 processes, I currently have 47 tabs open in Firefox using as little as 6% of my CPUs.
I found Trusteer to be a complete resource hog using about 25% of my CPUs and too much ram.
After uninstalling it once, I reinstalled it to check my account balance.
( I'm always very careful as I almost got Phished by what appeared to be a Scotiabank site last year. )
Reading the EULA from Trusteer, I realized, that I might have put the soul of my first born child at risk, fortunately I am childless.
After "uninstalling" it a second time, in January I found clandestine files running and a hidden folder, I ripped it all out using some nifty stuff that I've picked up.
Stay...
So: Trusteer Rapport. Yea or Nay?
